Missionaries and Missions
McKenna Community Church is a missions driven church. We seek to fulfill the mission of Jesus Christ in our community and in the world. We seek to glorify God as we evangelize the unreached, disciple believers, and minister to human need.We believe the ultimate human need is to know God; God’s primary means of relating to and transforming the world is the church. Jesus’ own words in Matthew 9:37-38 tell us,
“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

Mankind is lost and needs to be redeemed through the precious spilled blood of Christ Jesus whom we proclaim as Savior. Jesus commands us in Matthew 28:19-20,
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

We strive to obey His command by supporting Bible teaching missionaries in various parts of the world, knocking on doors in our community, and going willingly where God directs us to reach the lost. We wish to minister among individuals and communities who have never had the opportunity to understand the Gospel.
