Theology Course
June 18, 2019     .     6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
To have God’s Word in your heart, you first must have a mind renewed by The Word. And in order to represent God rightly it is necessary to know Him as He has revealed Himself in His Word. Sincerity alone is not sufficient, and zeal must not be mistaken for doctrinal precision (Romans 10:2).  In the simplest form, the study of theology is the study of what the Bible objectively teaches, and must have as its foundation a belief in the verbal, plenary inspiration of an inerrant and infallible testament.
In this class we will consider the theological subset of “Man, sin and salvation”. What does the Bible teach about the nature of Man? What does the Bible have to say about sin? How does God save sinners? This course will consider these and many more questions with the goal of helping Kingdom dwellers to know what they believe and why they believe it. If you desire a deeper understanding of God and His Word, please consider joining us as we seek to know the “depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! (Romans 11:33)
